15 minutes with Peter Saunders, trading controller of Caterforce, who would like to get back to a five handicap

I was an apprentice locksmith when I left school, before moving in to production planning and raw material buying. I’ve gone from buying nuts and bolts to baked beans and loo roll.
How would your colleagues at Caterforce describe you?
Hard working, or hard work, depending on how my golf is. Enthusiastic, helpful and likes a laugh.

Number of telephone calls made in a month.
If time and money were not an issue, what hobby would you most like to get into?
I’ve always loved driving, so some sort of motorsport racing cars or trucks.

Breakfast in the Contemporary Hotel Walt Disney World Florida with my wife and daughter, followed by visiting Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom onwards to Animal Kingdom, followed by 18 holes on the Magnolia Golf Course.
What is your song of choice at karaoke?
I can’t sing a note, so anything that I could get away with humming or whistling.

What would you cook them?
A fillet steak from Castell Howell’s butchery and Chefs’ Selections skin-on fries.
What trend would you like to see make a comeback?
Watching sport, or socialising with more than five people.
If you were a superhero, what would you choose as your superpower?
To travel back and forth through time.
What do you wish you knew more about?
Anything at all. Or perhaps the mechanics of the golf swing – I want to get back to a five handicap.
When was the last time you changed your belief or opinion about something major?
Brexit. I voted to remain, but now I just want to get out and start over.
