Nisa bolsters senior leadership team

Kim Clarkson has been appointed head of partner services at Nisa, and will be supported in her role by Karen Hopkinson, who has recently been chosen to head up the company’s independent supply chain and logistics network, as well as managing the relationship with its delivery partner, DHL.

Reporting into managing director Peter Batt, Clarkson will be responsible for shaping the future direction of the format and development proposition, ensuring continuity of Nisa’s high level of service through stock control, logistics and supply chain functions, as well as delivering a best-in-class partner support service.

Clarkson joined Nisa in 2017 and has over 20 years of experience within the retail and wholesale sector. Most recently, holding the position as Head of Cost to Serve at Nisa, where she was responsible for identifying ways to improve profitability through proposition, network or customer facing activity.

Batt said: “Both Kim and Karen bring a wealth of experience across wholesale, retail and logistics, and I’m delighted to announce their new roles within the business. They have both played a key part in strengthening both the Co-op and Nisa proposition and will be instrumental in helping to shape and deliver on our ambitions to be the wholesale partner of choice.
