NBC has welcomed six new wholesalers into the buying group, with Precision Wholesale, Prime Cash & Carry, Global Brand Supplies, Tastebuds, Good-One Deals, and Bada Business now members.
Back in August and its AGM, NBC reported that group profits had risen by over 60% and group revenue by £27.3m, with plan to recruit more wholesalers to the group.

Commenting upon the growth in membership, David Lunt, managing director, said: “it is great to see that these businesses share our own vision and values and as we grow we hope that this will deliver further incremental benefits to the group, its members, and its shareholders. As the industry faces its own challenges, and particularly through consolidation, we fully believe that by working collaboratively with our members and our suppliers we will continue our journey and be the alternative buying group for those that find working with us a real benefit”.
“These new members have joined because they fundamentally believe that we are an alternative to other buying groups that delivers what it promises – access to great brands, at great prices, facilitated by a wholly owned central warehousing and logistics function – NDN. Some are new to buying groups, others choosing NBC over other alternatives,” he added.
