DBC Group joins Sugro as part of retail change of focus

As part of a refocus on its UK retail supply through van sales, the DBC Group has joined Sugro as its newest member.

Previously known as The Discount Brand Company, DBC is based in Biggleswade and been trading since February 2013, supplying a range of food and non-food products across the UK and overseas.

Dan Yellop, managing director at DBC Group commented: “Afterthree3 years of continual growth in the UK wholesale space, we’ve been looking for a way to maintain that trajectory, and not start to flat-line! After a lot of research, we found that becoming a Sugro member was the natural next step in our development as a company. We’re really looking forward to working closely with Sugro in their 40th year, along with all their members and suppliers to build long-term trading partnerships to better everyone’s business.”

Sugro’s business development manager, Sue Hubber added: “We are very excited to welcome Dan and the rest of the Team at DBC Group, to the Sugro Family. There are some great opportunities for Sugro to support DBC initiatives, and their own upweighted focus on retail, aligns with our own objectives in better connecting with retailers and end users. We look forward to seeing DBC Group build their supplier networks and achieving their new goals.”
