The Partyman, a group of companies operating in the leisure and entertainment sectors, have acquired London-based food and beverage wholesale company Café Deli as part of a strategic acquisition.
KBS Corporate was instructed on the sale of by owners Angie and Mario Cappellazzi, who were seeking a buyer for their business which supplies independent retailers across England’s capital.

James Sinclair, chief executive of The Partyman Company, has described the acquisition as “a marriage made in heaven” due to the synergies with his other businesses. “Three and a half years ago, I bought the Rossi ice cream company which only had a couple of vans and we were listed with a couple of wholesalers – getting listed with more was like pushing water up a hill,” said the Essex-based entrepreneur.
“I knew if I could buy my own food services business that was operating at scale, just like Café Deli, at the stroke of a pen on contract-signing I’d be able to distribute my products just like that, and that’s what happened.
