Caterforce managing director Gary Mullineux has revealed that group turnover is set to grow by 8% year-on-year to £800m.
Speaking at the buying group’s biennial conference in Wembley Stadium, he said this equates to growth of 41% since 2019 compared to the foodservice market of 25%.
Citing the group’s sector leading average member turnover of £83m, Mullineux also pointed out that Caterforce, which added Q Catering to its membership in 2023, is not closed to new members ‘but they have to be the right fit.’

Dunsters Farm Managing Director Hannah Barlow, meanwhile, spoke about investments at the group, with £50m+ invested since 2022 and £60m+ planned in 2025 from the group’s membership of nine wholesalers.
These announcements came after Castell Howell managing director Matt Lewis kicked things off earlier in the day by addressing the recent political situation and how initial positivity about the new Labour government has since disappeared following the recent Autumn Budget announcements: “we have huge concerns, but we will get through it as an industry.”
