Almond Catering Supplies has invested £450,000 in a new facility at an emerging business park in Liverpool.
The move will see the business relocate from Liverpool’s wholesale market in Old Swan, to Stonebridge Business Park in Gillmoss.
The site is being developed by St. Modwen, the firm behind the major refurbishment at London’s New Covent Garden Market.
Almond’s new 5,117 sq ft unit is one of four sites of various sizes being developed for industrial use at Stonebridge Business Park by St Modwen.
Jonathan Lowe, of consultancy GVA, which advised on the sale, said: “The prominence of the location, on the A580 East Lancs Road, coupled with the quality of product, makes Stonebridge Business Park an attractive proposition for occupiers in the market who are considering relocation.”
