Bidfood has revealed plans to open two brand new depots this year in Glasgow and Bedford, with a third depot in the Midlands also commissioned for 2024.
The 90,000 sq. ft Glasgow facility will cover the West of Scotland and is set to open in early spring of 2023. Aiming to commence trading in autumn 2023, the Bedford site is aiming to help improve the foodservice wholesaler’s service across the South East of England, and will become one of the company’s largest sites to date at 160,000 sq. ft.
Both Glasgow and Bedford have been designed with the latest state-of-the-art systems, technology and fittings to support Bidfood in reducing its carbon footprint as well as continuing to work towards its target of greener depots.
