Foodservice giant Brakes has added 600 new pieces of light equipment to its front and back of house ranges, and are allowing customers to add the equipment to their usual Brakes food and drink order.
“Cutting down the number of orders that need to be placed, processed, and received, saves caterers valuable time and money and helps to make them more efficient,” said Mandy Van Hagen, Brakes marketing sector manager.
Time for industry to stand together, says Brakes chief
“Furthermore, we know from previous experience that when hospitality venues re-open after a lockdown they are obviously looking to keep staff and customers as safe as possible and consolidating their food and light equipment order so that they have fewer delivery drivers coming to the kitchen door is a big help in this respect. As in the past, we will be ready with everything that caterers need when they re-open – whether that is food or equipment – and all at the best possible price.”
The new light equipment products, which will take the Brakes range in this category to over 800, include items such as storage solutions, chefswear and janitorial lines.
