Country Valley Foods is set to join the Country Range Group at the start of next month, with the wholesaler’s £29m turnover adding to the groups’ buying power.
The family business has 24 vehicles delivering five-days-a-week across North East England and the business took on a second site at Billingham and in 2017 it became their primary HQ with the addition of a state-of-the-art cutting plant, dry aging room and additional freezer and fridge space.
In 2018, it also fully integrated the fresh meat and foodservice parts of the business and invested in its digital platforms, online ordering and ordering app.
