Jim Cummiskey has been appointed to the Today’s Group’s Today’s Wholesale Services board.
Cummiskey is the CEO of Scottish wholesaler Failte Foods, which recently featured in Better Wholesaling’s spotlight column. He joins the board with immediate effect.
The move was made during Today’s Wholesale Services’ AGM, held yesterday (23 November) at the Hilton, in Paddington, London.
At the AGM, three directors were re-elected to the board – Simon Hannah, of Scottish wholesaler JW Filshill, Manoher Mulchandani, of Imperial Cash and Carry, and Nicholas Ramsden of Dee Bee Cash and Carry.
Today’s Group is the UK’s largest buying group with purchasing power of £5.7bn.
The group operates across the retail, on-trade and foodservice sectors and has 150 wholesale members, 460 symbol group retailers and 1,970 retail club members in England, Scotland and Ireland.
