Dhamecha is to base its new Liverpool depot on the Farrriers Way industrial estate near Aintree and will compete with wholesalers in or around the same industrial estate include Parfetts, Hancocks and Bestway.
The site’s location was recently listed online and is a six-minute drive from Aintree Racecourse, or 20-minute drive to Liverpool city centre.
The cash and carry will be the wholesaler’s 13th depot and will mark the first time it has served retailers in the north of England.

Due to open later this year, the site follows recent expansion into the Midlands over the last 12 months. Previously, Dhamecha had predominantly served the south of England.
When Dhamecha announced the opening earlier this year, chief executive Pradip Dhamecha said: “Retailers in the Midlands area have really taken to our no-nonsense customer-first approach to traditional cash and carry where every decision is made with them in mind.
“In Liverpool, we are building a shopping environment that will be a pleasure to visit and we look forward to opening our doors to new customers in time for the important Christmas trading period.”
