Confectionery cash and carry Hancocks is to open a depot in Leeds on 24th March, which will be the 19th depot for the 50-year -old cash & carry chain.
The depot will be the first of a more compact format for the cash and carry, at just 7,500 square feet. It will stock a significant pick and mix range in addition to exclusive ranges, selected confectionery brands and drinks. The depot will not stock the main branded confectionery items, which can be found in Hancock’s nearby Bradford depot.
“We’ve sited our Leeds cash and carry a stone’s throw from the Booker depot as we believe that businesses can benefit from the additional and different range of confectionery to be found at Hancocks” says Mark Watson, Hancocks CEO.
