JJ Food Service has opened a multi-million-pound new site in Dagenham.
Situated just a few miles from the centre of London, the site is the tallest of JJ’s 11 branches, and sells thousands of big brands and own-label products across the fresh, chilled, frozen, ambient and packaging categories.
The investment includes significant spending on solar panels, LED lights, and protective canopies, and the overall development has seen the site transform from its former, dilapidated state into an eye-catching new warehouse, situated on the A13, near the River Thames.
JJ CEO, Mustafa Kiamilv, said: “It was hard work, but our team had the determination and perseverance to create a first-class shopping environment for customers. We look forward to giving caterers and families in the local area great savings when they click and collect.”
Former quality assurance manager and HR manager, Halil Canci, who has been at JJ for seven years, will head up the new Dagenham branch. He said: “Working across various departments has enabled me to develop a thorough understanding of the business. I’ve been given a fantastic opportunity. My managers trust in me, and I won’t let them down.”
A promotional brochure has been generated exclusively for the Dagenham branch for November and December.
