Hampshire wholesaler La Espanola has acquired a new 13,000 sq ft industrial unit near Portsmouth.
The unit, which is situated around three miles from Portsmouth city centre, close to the A27 and M27, has been purchased by the importer of Mediterranean food on a long leasehold, with Portsmouth City Council retaining the freehold of the site as part of a three-way deal.
La Espanola was founded in Hampshire in 1997 by business partners Raul and Sue Aguado.
The business’ general manager Jason Gould said: “Many of our clients are based on the south coast, so we are pleased to be returning to where we first traded.
“The move will allow us to provide the best possible service, and we are looking forward to continuing to grow the business from this great new location.”
