Landmark Wholesale has appointed Martin Spivey as licensed on-trade controller, a new role which has been introduced specifically to develop the group’s on-trade terms with suppliers.
Martin has 30 years’ experience in on-trade and joins Landmark from Molson Coors. He has worked with Landmark central office and its members for the last 11 years and will start the new role on March 17th. He said: “I will use my experience to work alongside our members and suppliers to create and develop a positive, collaborative agenda.”
Martin Williams, Landmark Wholesale managing director, added: “We are thrilled to have secured someone with the extensive experience and knowledge of the on trade market. And, having worked alongside him for a number of years, I know that Martin will make a great contribution to the group.”
Other recent appointments include Asmat Hamid who joined the group earlier this year as business analyst, working with Landmark’s insight data to identify future initiatives, and Les Mohammed who was appointed as foodservice trading controller to support the £1 billion Landmark foodservice business.
