Lomond is holding its first in person trade show since the start of the pandemic, with the Glasgow-based wholesaler showcasing products to existing and potential retail and foodservice customers as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations.

Taking place on 18 and 19 May 2022 at Lomond’s Glasgow depot, there will also be a dedicated area of the show for locally sourced products – something that Lomond is passionate about.

“The trade show is a fantastic opportunity for our customers to meet our suppliers, try new products and get one step ahead of their competition,” said Barbara Henderson, director. “Our suppliers don’t just bring the products they already have on offer, but new products that are in the pipeline so our customers get to see what’s new and what could offer them exciting new sales opportunities.”

“Supporting local Scottish producers and suppliers is a key focus for us,” she added. “There is so much demand for locally sourced products and we’re delighted to already offer more than 3,000 Scottish products, but fully intend this to represent 50% of our whole range by the end of 2022.”
