Pukka is set to launch a new line of grab-and-go parcels inspired by international cuisines. This initiative aims to modernise the savoury pastry category by introducing bold, globally-inspired recipes designed to appeal to younger consumers.
The new World Flavours range features three varieties: Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Mexican Beef, and Indian Spiced Vegetable, with the launch supported by a comprehensive marketing campaign, including PR, digital promotions, and a TV advertisement.
The World Flavours range will hit shelves on 9 October at Morrisons. It will then be available to convenience and wholesale channels from November.
The launch follows Pukka’s recent Pepperoni Pizza, Doner Kebab and All Day Breakfast innovations. Over the past year, the brand has generated £4.5m to the pastry category.
Pukka’s ceo, Issac Fisher, said: “When developing the products, our top priority was coming up with something that tasted great and felt authentic. That’s why we travelled the world, visiting Jamaica, Mexico and India, to bring a taste of these iconic culinary destinations to the UK, of course adding our signature Pukka stamp along the way – and we are excited to see the range come to life.”
