Savona installs new ERP system

Following an implementation over the past few weeks, Savona Foodservice has completely replaced its core ERP system, moving to a browser-based program called Qnetex by wholesale IT specialists, CSD.

The wholesaler embarked upon a strategic program of system replacements two years ago that aimed to provide the latest in technology solutions, enabling a radical improvement to its customer proposition and experience.” From adopting a unified communications approach to what would otherwise be traditional telephony, to full adoption of mobile collaboration using Microsoft Teams, no technological stone has been left unturned to offer the most flexible approach to new ways of working,” explained group digital manager Jenny Squire.

Interview- How has Savona Foodservice adapted to the pandemic?

This system already includes ePOD and live customer order tracking and underpinning all this is the ability to retrieve and analyse data, for which Savona have adopted Phocas – a UK based, wholly provider-owned product that offers the most user-friendly interface.

This installation complements its existing e-commerce website which, powered by the Biggest Shed, came out last year, with Savona planning more major technology developments over the course of the next six months.
