With demand for plant-based foods on the rise across the UK, LoveSeitan’s range of seitan logs are now available to foodservice wholesalers, with the likes of Bidfood, Creed Foodservice and Lomond already stocking it in their depots.
The launch comes off the back of recent figures estimating that there are 3.5m vegans in the UK and 22m flexitarians – a term for those that still eat meat and dairy but want to reduce their intake.

Seitan is a vegan alternative to meat, similar to tofu and tempeh but with a different texture and flavour.
LoveSeitan claims that it has developed a unique process for making its version, with seitan logs available in 1kg or 2.5kg packs in chilled and frozen format.
Flavours include Classic, Chilli & Garlic, Smokey Dokey, Italian Herb, Classic, Funky Chyck’n, Sage & Onion, Seitan Roast and Plain.
