Northern Ireland-based S&W Wholesale is set for a new £15m 17,000 sqm distribution centre which will see it increase warehouse space by five-fold and result in a doubling of the delivery fleet.
S&W serves over 2,500 customers from its current location in Newry, located close to the border with the Republic of Ireland. Offering next day delivery of chilled, frozen and ambient temperature goods to both independent and symbol retailers, S&W holds an offering of more than 4,000 products.

The company has also installed a Podfather logistics planning, route optimisation and ePOD solution, which will support the expansion with improved routing, automated customer ETA notifications and more detailed reporting.
