Today’s Group members celebrated in style at the FWD Gold Medal awards, with the winning wholesalers scooping three of the sought-after accolades and David Cullen winning the Lifetime Achievement Award, very well deserved!
The annual event, held at the HAC’s Royal Artillery Gardens, celebrates the achievements and innovations seen in the wholesale industry, recognizing top performing individuals, teams and brands who have maintained a commitment to excellence throughout 2014.

Winning the Gold Medal for Customer Support, Dee Bee pride themselves on their excellent customer service and their personal approach to business. Located in Grimsby, Dee Bee has a 60,000 sq ft depot, stocking 40,000 products, making their drive to support and help customers a key part of their success.

Celebrating its 140th anniversary in 2015, JW Filshill in Glasgow is the longest established wholesaler in the Today’s group. A family business, Simon Hannah took over as Managing Director from his father Ronnie. Filshill is proud to support their loyal Keystore retailer network and a constantly looking to improve their operations through great customer service and technological innovation.

Today’s were proud to see nine of their wholesale members short-listed for their outstanding achievements, in a year where the FWD judges saw more nominations than ever before.
Selected by FWD associate members, the short-list was an incredibly difficult process for both the judges and the wholesale members, highlighting the quality of the entries for the 2014 awards. Today’s featured strongly across a number of categories, with two Today’s members nominated in the Gold Medal for Delivered Depot Manager and two for the Gold Medal for Customer Support.
