UniCo Food Group unveils own-brand range

Newly formed buying group UniCo Food Group has launched a Chef’s Pride own label range, which will now be available to the eight members’ 20,000+ customers.

The group was formed last week and will focus on the fast food and quick service restaurant sectors, with the eight foodservice wholesalers having a collective turnover of £500m, 1.2m sq ft of warehouse space, and 400 multi-temperature vehicles.

“This is a significant milestone for us as we continue to expand and enhance our offerings in the food service market,” said a company statement.  “We are actively developing our own label range for frozen, chilled, and ambient products, ensuring that we provide high-quality and diverse options to meet the needs of our customers.”
