Woods Foodservice hosts top UK chefs for ‘Market Day’ event

Woods Foodservice recently hosted some of the UK’s top chefs and restaurateurs to attend ‘Market Day with Woods’ in what was an immersive experience, connecting chefs and suppliers directly.

Featuring gastronomic star Raymond Blanc the day featured interactive cooking demonstrations showed visitors behind the scenes of Woods’ Uxbridge Distribution Centre.

Raymond Blanc, world-renowned chef patron of Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, said: “Woods aren’t your standard supplier, and this won’t be a standard event, so I’m thrilled to be part of it, meeting producers, sharing an insight into the ethos we share, the ingredients we use, and the stories we tell through our food.”
